i just watched it to try work out roughly, i made it 10 seconds, i can get much better than that as i was really just testing the digi cam, ill do a propper one when i can ger someone or something to hold the camera for me so the steering doesnt spin out on me.

I'd like to see a corsa manage a sub 7 0-60 on a std 20XE, also remeber that both the rev gauge and speedo measure fast. The only reliable way is the pod, or a G-meter is ok *note muct be used on a flat road unlike broster *

Torque steer can be a thing of the apst if equal length shafts are used

gotta love torque steer, holding cam with finger and thumb, and streering wheel with little finger.

works, bit pickelly.

think a a stronger initial bite on the clutch, with less throttle to get off the line woudl help a bit.

7.3-7.5 isn't sub 7 though. Also bear in mind that 0-60's have set rules as to the load of the car etc... to make them comparable between cars.

Also my peak power is 5600 rpm u was changing before that from what i saw!

I think a mid 7 is accurate, i never get torgue steer on mine, it just pulls in a straight line and shes off!

It's not really peak power you want to shift at, it's more making sure when you go up to the next gear you are near peak torque so you don't "bog down"
Should be bouncing of 7k through first and second.

Yea, in 1st you were no where near the redline! when ya doin a 0-60, you have to thrash it a bit!

me and a couple of mates were tryin 2 wrk it out before. but it all depends on the driver, tyres etc... there as fast as a impreza from a rolling start, but on a standin start u cant get traction, but a impreza does approx 6 (correct me if im wrong) valver/turbo corsa isnt really the ideal car 2 b standardin starts but 'motorway races' as we call them, ya can beat most things

yeh I was gonna say about changing early too - the fact you had a 8v you've probably got used to changing early... but with the 16v thrash the fuck out of it.
