its an SECERET election between the cardinals of the Vatican. they are locked away from the outside world in quarentine to elect the new pope. the one wiht the most votes wil win. the world will be informed of the decision via smoke. if white smoke comes out of a chimney in the vatican, a new pope has been elected, if the smoke is black, then no decision has been made, the smoke is made of the ballot papers of the cardinals. the winning pope must have a 2/3 majority......hope u r now fully informed
