At the moment the only thing in my car is the drivers seat. It wouldn't be much extra work to remove the carpet. Should I do it?

Im worried it'll look abit too untidy if I do

Peoples opinions?

Looks ace if you paint it all up like the exterior...

Be warned it will be very noisy, rattly and feel "cold"

I say do it!

I've done it, I think it's smarter than having carpets in. Esp when stripped out, wipe clean too, very handy

But as Tim says gets noticabley colder, but it isn't a issue if you have a heater still

also a good opertunity to get the tar matting out and save more Kg's out the car.

Oh, on wet days (wet sole of trains) be careful if you step in to the car, you can end up sliding in

I know what you mean about it looking smart if its all clean. JR's always looks really tidy but my car is a 93 & Im worried its gonna be abit tatty under the carpet

Might peel it back abit & have a quick look at what kind of condition its in

it can be a little slippy, but not too horrendous. falling into your seat is the worst that can happen.

mine's a 93 Matt, and fine under the carpet. well it's still got a bit of the glue left on, but the metal work is sound.

I had left message with Des to find out if you were still up for it - I assume he's not mentioned it to you - let know if you want to stay on board...

Look how tidy yours looks James, I love it.

I need to get something to mount my ECU on, rather than the floor
