Can you drive your car to and from a pre-booked MOT with no road tax? It's just that they won't sell me any road tax without an MOT...

yes! i got stopped on the way home n the copper was gutted that i had a lovely mot certificated times 10 mins earlier!
I said 'i'm just on my way to the post office officer'
he replied 'you better hurry up it closes in 10 mins'
