gave my car an idea of how vtec feels last night...... went out for a spirited drive to a local mini cruise, went from 7000rpm in 4th thinking 5th was the next best gear to use....but i managed to find 3rd, rev counter spun round a long long was and car made some funny noises front end dived down so hard the mud flaps rubbed on the floor!
was interesting to say the least, but engine seems fine however my gear box wines in 3rd gear.....

My brother did that years ago racing someone off at the lights, first, in to second up to the limiter and back in to first instead of third. Whheeeeeeeeee!

yes i worried! will need to fix a new engine i belive my 1.6 is going to die soon.....on that note anyone want to buy it lool

i took lukes corsa over to a mates in lowestoft last weekend and i am used to being able to gear down in mine to take roundabouts..... was approaching a r/bout at about 40 and went to put it in 2nd..................


























it didnt like it one bit

I did that in my 2 litre Corsa racing a cossie - 2nd gear, 8000rpm and 65mph and put it into first!!!!!

Worst noise Ive ever heard, only damage was that I snapped the front engine mount and the engine went through the radiator!
