If you have a degree, are doing one or just your view...
what salary would you expect to be on for your first job out of uni (with no or very little experience)

Depends on the degree 90% of people do mickey mouse degree and do not relise they wasted a couple fo years of there life and got debt for it.
My old company rarly employed grautues as they could not do the job for shit as all they had was text book knowledge.
Just can't see the point of doing a degree unless a job requires it.

Yup Ive worked with a few graduates before and they were fucking useless I had to keep showing them what to do until I got pissed off......2 degrees and couldn't even operate a gas collection bomb in the whole time he was there he was a know it all cunt aswell
Just because you have a degree doesnt mean you can walk into a job and expect the going wage, you need to gain experience aswell and most companies wont give you a looking unless you have some experience!!

I went the day release root and although it took me longer to get I have workplace experiance to got with it. A lot of my friends went to Uni and have found it difficult to find jobs since they left, infact I'm actually thinking of employing one of my mates myself.

Most graduates are only on about 15-20k they just all think once out they can earn big money.
Unless they did something usful.

soo many people think because they have a degree they will get a high paid job
There was something in one of the sunday papers a few months ago. A couple both had the same degree and the most there job could give was 17 or 18k a year i think. both doing the same thing. They jacked it in to clean windows making 30k a year each.

Well 12k is under that average then
I don't just think once i'm out i'll earn big money either. From what i've been told about my degree, people that have it are well sought after in industry. I understand that experience counts for a lot but if you're doing a worthwhile degree, companies will want you.
