Just wondered if anyone works as a car salesman for a large organisation such as vaux, seat, honda, bmw . . .
whats the basic salery like, take it its all comission based.
and how did you get the job.
need something to do when i leave college.

Hyundai. Basic is crap, largely commision. Some places pay higher basic but its swings and roundabouts on basics and commisions. Once you get going, people at my place took home about 30k last year. Theres only 7 salesman between 2 branches. Adverts in paper for sales trainees, is your best bet, i went to one, but they said they wanted to put me straight in as a salesman.

whats the hours and that like? coz at mo im workin from 5.30 til dinner. then go to college till about 3, then back to work til about 6. and it fucking stinks!!!

I work 8:30 til 6 0. Normally get there a bit earlier and sometimes get caught there late. Was there til 8:20 last night. Work every Saturday and every other sunday.
