Well I have come to the decision that I will be selling my car at PVS. If I can get a feature before this time, as I don’t want to sell and the person who buys my car gets a feature, for all my hard work. I will enjoy the car until then as all the problems, which I had with the engine, are now solved. So I’m going to have fun with the XE
I’m finishing uni in may for good, and now looking for jobs, and need a car which isn’t LOW, as I don’t know if my new job will have monstor speed bumpes etc. the main reason for selling is to get insured on that on my own insurance, and start to build my NCB’s up, so when im 25, hopefully have 3 years NCB, and get a sports car then
I think I will be getting a 106 Gti, as I can get insured on that quite cheap. And use that for three years. What does every one think of these cars? I like the look of them, but will be test driving one soon, to see how fast they are compared to the valver.
I will MAYBE selling all ICE separately, or who ever wants to buy the car can pay extra for them.

I love the look of 106 GTI thb, there rapid little xars and the handling on them is superb, fair enought the build quality could be a bit better but there fairly new so rust aint gonna be an issue and with a few breathing mods they can be just as quick as an XE corsa

well i thought about that, but that means paying two insurances, and i need money to mod too if i did get a GTI i would probally stick some alloys on, lower it, and tune engine up. once u have an XE, all that matters is POWER i used to like kits etc, now i dont, just a power freak

put a different body kit on the corsa like a irmscher one or sumit euro and sell your bigger bumpers. you could then keep the power and not worry too much about speed bumps. or even raise the suspension a wee bit. theres plenty of possibilities. ur corsa is mint dont let sum 1 else have it and ruin it just yet

I agree with ed jones,
get your feature if you can!
The take the kit off, as needs a little tidy up to be fair, sell that on and get a subtle kit or gsi kit and some speedline wheels, not the common ones though!
Then you have the interior, sounds, looks, power, or you will sell on and regret it for sure!!

i can see where u lot are coming from, and i have thought about putting a GSi kit on etc, but at the end of the day, i need to get on my own insursance, and i will NEVER get insured on my own on the corsa. i love the power these XEs give, but i dont really want to throw any more moeny at it, its cost me enough on replacing everything in the engine

i really cant afford to be paying much on the insurance, as i paid out 1050 for it now. i just insurance qoute for a GTi for 750quid, nice price to start building my NCBs up, and have power to play with!
i just dont know what to do

cant complain with that then
just a shame after u spent so much time getting the car the way you wanted it and even sorting out all them leaks to give someone else trouble free motoring
All i can say is that the pug handles better and i supose cheap insurance is a bonus but thats about it.
I think you should get a few more insurance quotes before you deffo make your mind up

i will try a few more places, to see what i can get for my xe on my own, before any Commitment is made to sell!
