i got about £150-200 to spend im buying ash_corsa's car in 2 weeks thats got a pioneer gm-6000f amp so what sub would be best in that price range for that amp,it also has a kenwood graphic eqauliser.
please give me an idea of what to get.

you wont find better for the money, think they push about 300w RMS

JL sounds good to me mate!
the kenwood graphic equaliser will make a fair bit of diffrence

The JL's are good with a decnt amp, but tbh their overpriced for what they are.

Id go for the new 13W1V2's they are out any second now and have a lot of more modern tech on them and are cheap.

two of my oxygen 15's for 20 including postage, i hit 140db with 4 and i recon 133 is possible with 2, really deep too!

W1V2 will be in next few weeks so i hear...

price will be less than W3V2, but slightly more than the old W0, worth the extra tho,W1V2 has some of the W7 technology in it, as will the upcoming W3V3 which will be the one to watch out for.

My W3V2's will be going when W3V3's come out.

is it the lower the db the better? is 133db better than 140db?

more bd is louder, 140 is a LOT louder than 133

no, higher is louder.
in theory if you remove 2 subs from a set up you loose 3db per sub. so removing 2 of these from 140db but keeping the power the same should give 133-134db
