I'm after one cd deck but im on a budget of 150 quid????

Seen a numark axis2
http://www.decks.co.uk/products/cdplayers/numark/axis2

or there is a few on ebay and the minute. Any recommendations?
ideally im looking to pick something second hand but abit better, but on second thoughts as long s it plays cd's and has pitch bend +/- i can't really see the point. what do you reckon?
Wouldn't mind a denon DNS5000 but its just slightly out of budget.

i can find mixers, just dont know which are good and bad etc. Also HTFR are likely to be alot dearer than other places.

doubt ill be able to get a second hand one for 150. Thats the only cd deck i've been on so whatever i get is going to feel shit in comparision. Just need another deck though as one of my turntables is dead. makes sense to get a cd deck but 150 is all i can afford.

hmmm wont be easy , for that price your looking at entry level so theres gonna be alot of difference , i say before you buy try go to a local shop that has them and just try them out first as there will be no comparison , i can get the DNS at ttrade but still out your budget.

You should be able to pick up a Pioneer CDJ 100 on E-bay for around what you can afford, they retail at £250 although some places sell for £270; these have all the functions (pitch control, jog wheel, cue, and effects) along with solid build quality.

thats why you have both, my personal preference would be a denon dns5000 and a Vestax pdx2000, seem so much more friendly than 1210's
for now ill have to stick with mi old Gemini pt-2000 lol

aye, Vestax pdx2000 arnt too bad, although i dont like the styling of vestax gear - petty i know, but they look like serious plastic tack

but still, rather have a set of mk5 1210s - if you can play on those, you can play on anything

Got the pioneer for 155, went up to 180 but someone retracted!
My friend is giving me an old stanton mixer of his and knocking me a deck stand up after designing him a winning logo for ebay!
