I have used it in my car since I bought it.

The SXi i had before had never had it, however as soon as I got th SRi i decided to start using it.

I notice MPG go up alot after a few tank fulls.

This is the reason I use it,

Havent really noticed any performance difference,

If you compare Supermarket petrol to Optimax you'll notice a difference. There's a noticable difference between Supermarket petrol and standard Texaco unleaded FFS.

Yes, yours is a nice sexual turbo charged car. It's people who stick Optimax in their 1.2 and 1.4s that amuse me.

The higher the RON rating, the slower the fuel burns.

If thats the case, people might as well use optimax, not only is it cheaper but runs more smoothly than 95ron.

The best fuel I have found to make my car seem smoother and pick up in low gears a lot better is Esso's Superplus unleaded...think its 97RON...then next best is Optimax...I very rarely use 95RON unleaded these days as it makes the car run like shite...

For some reason the Esso stuff makes mine run better than Optimax...
