Basically as it says, Just got a quote for my own car Corsa 1.4 Premier (5Door) With Alloys. Price was £815 Fully comp, thats me being 19 with 1 Years NCB and Pass Plus. This was with Elephant, However if I'm fully comp can I drive other cars as third party only? Or do I have to wait till I'm 21 ?

Nothing to do with waiting until your a certain age think it just depends on insurers & Elephant for 1 dont do this unless you specifically ask!!

Any idea if they charge you extra though? What do I ask, just can I be put third party for any other car I wish to drive ?

Yeah of course they will charge extra, maybe even say no!!! Just phone them and ask if you can change your policy to enable you to drive any car TPFT - see what they say.

or search round for a different insurer whos fully comp policy allows you to drive others tpft??

I insured my car age 19 for TPTF 1 YNCB £750 Endsleigh really good and only £90 deposit thats on a 1.2 LS

 I'm pretty certain NO insurer will give you 3rd party cover on other cars till you're AT LEAST 21. Most say 25.
