i have pass plus! I went with norwich union and they half'd my insurance!

Get one of those free NCB you can get now -- i.e. you don't crash in a year and get 2 NCB at the end. That's what i'm gonna go after

im with churchill insurance.
In exchange for my Pass Plus they gave me a free years no claims!

Nice , how old are you though cos im 17 at the mo , so the insurance is through the roof

think i was 18 at the time.
IFyou wanna save money, Pass Plus and a Cat 1 alarm is the way to go.
It will cost you more money up front, but you'll see the return of that over the next year or so.
(so long as you drive sensibly and dont crash )

i did pass plus and got 30-40% knocked off (because they gave me an introductory 1 yr ncb), but then i crashed a week before my renewal so its really high now lol

I didnt think that the Pass Plus was worth the hassle but by the looks of it I was wrong, how much is it to do????

nothing, you just send the certificate that you get to the dvla. i dont think it goes onto your license, just you get a certificate number thats on the dvla database, which you quote to your insurer

i think its only any use in your 1st year. so i dont think you could do pass plus now if you're into your second year of insurance. i may be wrong thoug

I can get pass plus for £80....without doing it. you get a real certificate though.

Yeah you have 12 months 2 do pass plus after you have passed ya test , well thats what i wos told anyway

It's only valid either for 2/3 years after you do it, or in your first 2/3 years of driving, don't know which though
