will be the next big thing to have in the future?
we've gone from walkman's to mp3's,
tin cans with string to mobile phones,
horses to cars,
i'm thinking it's going to be holographic. communications of some kind, or maybe the next generation of computer consoles?
or maybe a hovering/flying form of travel...

was just thinking about it in the shower earlier.

perhaps a new way to take a dump...
from squatting in a forest, to using rudimentry flushing instruments such as the toilet, then in the future, perhaps some kind of lazer surgery that removes faeces from your gut in a more pleasant manner?

it's about time a new toilet was invented. Everyone uses them and it seems such an old design to be using day in day out.

Some people have suggested the toilet cleans your ass for you ... i would consider this to be lazy
Then again toilet paper is nasty stuff, so why dont people just use things like baby wipes?

They've got holographic displays already, but give it 5-10years or so and i recon these will be the new "thing" to have.
Although automated cars is what i want to see - like in I-Robot, would also cut down on accidents between motorists.
