keeps the filter cooler so makes a difference...maybe not alot but better to have them..

the colder the air intake the better the engine runs basically. cold air feed stops the intake or warm air from the engine bay

is he not talking about cold air pipes to the filter to try and stop it sucking in the hot air from engine
