Easynet is launching 24Mb Broadband end of the summer

Ultrafast broadband speeds of up to 24Mbps will be available in the UK by the end of the summer 2005 from Easynet and its LLUStream™ wholesale broadband customers.
Announcing the trials, Justin Fielder, Business Development Director, Easynet, said: “Easynet continues to trailblaze innovative services through its Local Loop Unbundled infrastructure. Whilst we await the process of ADSL2+ approval for commercial use by the industry technical forum, we are undertaking a technical trial of ADSL2 and ADSL2+ capability that is already embedded in our LLU network. Our intention is to make sure that our customers and partners are at the forefront of the technology curve and we anticipate full commercial launch of ultrafast broadband services in the second half of 2005
