alright fellas...
im thinkin of buying a classic mini off a guy beside me, however im a bit lost when it comes to mechanics...he's told me he's spent £2.5k on her. (its 1983, 1ltr)
some of mods are: (these are his words..)
It has a new front end Ie wings etc etc
All new breaks, everything has been done...
the engine has had new timing chain, 266 cam, lighten fly wheel, has inch and 1/4 carbs, 4 core rad....
New carpets group 5 archs brand new as well.
10inch weather rims all painted up again..
so, i was wondering....is this good?
anyone know what these mean?
he's looking offers around £1500,
what do you's think?

cant see where £2500 as gone there :confused: mini parts are cheap

thats what i thought too...?!
although it has had a re=spray also...
however he cant remember the paint code, it was a custom job...

that's just the equivilant of a new timing belt new cams etc. i presume increase performance, lightend flywheel is like an uprated better one. This is what i presume anyway.
Problem with minis is normally you spend more time with the bonnet up than down  however, i assume if it's been well looked after etc. it shoul dbe fine.
