Say you download something, and it is a password protected file. For this example, lets just say a winrar file. Would you be able to get past this slight problem, say if, you didnt have the password?

Depends what encryption but they're usually quite strong. You can brute force if you have a few years spare.

lets say, hypothetically speaking of course, one were to download such compressed file from a website, or bit torrent website. One may find the actual password in the file description or filename itself in closed brackets, which usually is a website address.

You can also visit the website, to fish for the password.

Incidently, most files protected like these are adult movies, i'm not sure if that would be of any use though.

Alternatively, one could try brute force attacking the encryption, but this is likely to take a while, in the order of a few days/weeks..
