fitted a dbilas inlet for pavarotti today, thought id post some pics of the job

why are corsa inlet systems always v. dirty?

heres a pic of the loom after soldering in new wires and re-wiring it due to it being burnt out!

more pics of the dirty throttle body and icv before being cleaned and all nice and shiny!

old and new gasket (lucky i had a new one spare)

getting there!

had to drill the bolts out of the throttle body, as the monkeys that tried to do the job before me rounded the torx heads off! heres one of the bolts:

finally after a thorough clean of the throttle dody and icv .........

all finished

had to make loads of parts myself tho, kit didnt come with anywhere near enough pipes, bolts, nuts, clamps, hose fittings, jubilee clips etc....

even had to cut out make my own throttle body -to- manifold gasket from a ceareal box!!

thought REGAL said the kit came with "everything"

I fitted mine too, was a bit of a bugger. Had to modify the old throttle cable housing to fit. But mine came with a throttle body to manifold gasket.
