we discussed that last week at corsa-tigra.de - so first thought - LOL
Main Problems:
- GM and Honda very different. The standard Opel eeeh Vauxhall engines are at the right, and the gearbox is mounted to the left. Honda engines are sittin on the left side, and the gearbox is mounted to the right.
-You need to construct complete new holders for the engine.
-then you need to bring the supension to the wheels, where to get suspension-sticks?? you need custom made ones. thats what i mean with suspension-sticks, i am not so good in english
The 1.6 16V Engine has about 160 hp, but a C20XE Corsa would be better off anyway (standard CRX Vti can't catch up the corsa )
So it would be a very expensive transplantation with no unusual power for a corsa. I think it would be cheaper to get a C20LET into a Corsa than a Honda engine. If you want a foreign Engine, try BMW... some of their engines are easy to connect to the Opel gearbox and almost fit into standard bigblock engine holders...
