Now i've got myself a decent full time job, I'm wanting to get a good cheap base to turn into a track car, any ideas on what cars are good for this use and what is do-able to them?

Planning on totally stripping out and engine change etc etc but wondered if anyone had any good ideas, btw its only going to be used as track as i havent got a chance in hell of insuring a 2.0 anything mods or no mods lol, my 1.6 corsa is bad enough at 18

so, any ideas guys n gals?

if you insure your car with HIC you get trackday cover included in with your general coverage

as for track car... NOVA.. totally stripped to the bone, running a 1.6 TB'd or Carbs.. or even standard, as the car will weigh less than a balloon
