holy **** lol... i just can't understand whteher or not it shud have that rubber mount there :S in haynes they take it out but thats for coilovers so i dunno and it doesnt fit in anyway so i just thought meh out with it.... but then it didnt look like it sat right + is it ok having my spring just on the top bearing :S won't it slip.... someone's gotta know... i know Joff, welshdude and some others have FK 60/40 and those who have done it before shud be able to shed some light! thanks

thx for the help first it doesn't well i cudnt see it sitting in exactly as the old one did mainly cos the coil is narrower at the top on the new one's so it sits inside the pre cut out if u will coil bit in the rubber.... :S unless i have the springs upside down but that wud make the writing on the upside down and surely thats not right... shall get it all off 2moro and have pics

the spring will narrow at the bottom - theres a little locating slot in the shock cup that the lower end sits into. The rubber bit should fit into the top of the spring, it will more than likely be a tight squeeze. If this isn't the case, either your spring or rubber bit is worng, or you've been supplied with the wrong springs...

sorted it out mate, thanks for ure help... it appears i was wrong the spring is the wrong way around - although i was under the distinct impression writing shud face up anyway shall try 2moro and let u know
