Havent actually got a new car yet, Im supposed to be getting one with a blown engine tomorrow but ive just found out that the trailer we have hired has a different connector on it to the tow bar on the car i borrowed, and its looking unlikely that I will be able to get it

Anyway, been to ffwd motorsport and bought a new front bumper, sent off cheques for a smooth boot with gsi+ saxo spoiler, the 300mm reyland 4 pots and a gtec performance meter (was only £42 deliverd from migweb, so thought why not

Im hoping to get most of the work done now over the easter holidays, gonna give the car to the bodyshop for a few weeks when im done and then get an engine put in. Im hoping to put the XE back in straight away, but may have to wait till october whern im 21 and insurance will go down. Either way, im gonna get the head skimmed ported and polished, service the engine while its out, fit the enlarged throttle body, possibly get some cams and pulleys, powder coat the rocker cover, then eventually a custom chip. Im also getting the wheels refurbished, new colour respray, and fit the gauges that i bought ages ago. Its going to be busy! And for anyone that is interested, I will be putting up some progress pictures along the way
