From the plug thats plugged in to my hard drive, i have another plug looped out of the one thats on there, does that mean i can just add another hard drive....?

The one ive got has an ATA IV interface standard if that makes any difference - was looking at this one...

to be honest, for £10 more get a 160 gig drive And yes, so long as you have a spare power cable (same as the other cable going into your exising hard drive, with red black and yellow wires) then it will work. Just make sure the new one has the jumpers on the back set to slave, and it should just work when you turn the pc on.
