Thing i dont understand.
Is 99.9% of people celebrating this wont be irish. and i doubt anyone even knows anything about WHY they are celebrating it and what for.
Instead you wait untill one day a year to go into a pub wear silly hats and buy a drink you can buy the other 364 days of the year from any pub 
Its beyond me

Well some of us (like me) went to the open air concert on sunday with loads of different irish bands/dancers and stuff like the saw doctors! was well good, but couldnt get pissed as i was 3 rows from the front and couldnt move 
Great fun tho. wish i was irish.
