Turned over last night, first turn and idled no problems.. DELIGHTED!!!

Just gotta get an expansion tank cos mine is cracked and the engine mount from lee and where cooking.

how much did all the parts cost in the end? are they uprated or stock?

all parts are standard... execpt lightened crank and flywheel. rods, shells, pistons etc are all gm standard.

but nearly every part has been renewed... cost a pretty penny, close to 1k in parts and headwork. but she's basically a new engine..

and who did the headwork?

i assembled it myself... headwork i left to my a friend of the family who owns a head shop called autohead recon up with us... Work is first class and cheap too. he rubuilt the head, all new parts, waterways sleeved to prevent going porous, ported and flowed as well.
