Right i have read this thread http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=105757
but just wanted to check, on the http://www.wheel-base.co.uk/site/ site there are some team dynamic tornados, they are 17" and the tyre thingy says 205-40-17 does this mean they will be ok offset whise for my corsa when lowered 40-60mm?

205-40-17 is nothing to do with the offset
If i remember correctly, team dynamics come in ET45 which will be fine on a corsa but u should contact wheelbase to check

yes team dynamics is available in a 45 offset, 45 is prob ideal on a 7x17 wheel as will give clearence on shock where as 49 maybe close.
I ran 7x17 et 45 lowered 40mm usual arch mods
(remove rear bolts and bond arches)
Rubbed like a bitch with BF Goodridge but was fine with Toyo's (shape of top edge of tyre makes a difference)
