i have my driving test next week , if i pass (hopefully) , i am looking to buy a second hand corsa , what is better , 1.2 corsa or 1.0 corsa , and what insurance groups are they in

both the 1.0 and 1.2 8 valve are rather slow. id go for a 1.2 16v, think insurance is group3.
