just bought some for £50 , they make it look like your watching a 52" screen for 2 metres away. anyone worn some before? are they ridicolous

they look like one of those contraptions we used to play with back in the 80's 90's,
well if you can spare 50£ why not? but i'd rather watch movies from a normal 28"+ tv and enjoy surround sound/5.1 etc...
