Definatly worth buying, one of the best british films of recent years in my opinion. Alot better than Lock Stock, Snatch et al. Unlike the others this isnt set in the East End.

i disagree, hasn't got that comical aspect of lock stock, and snatch. Still a good film though, just not a legendary as the other two.

not quite as good as lock stock and snatch but the story line seems to be better just not the comedy!
More of a ganster film, some good twists that make it worth purchasing

I think snatch and lock stock you can watch again and again and again, whereas layer cake is something you watch occasionally. I still think Layer Cake is a better film though.

I personelly think layer cake is a better film and you can see that the two films before where should not be credited to Guy Richie but Matthew Vaughn.

I bought it down the pub about 3 months ago watdched it til' the last scene and it went off still don't know how it finishes.
It's meant to be more serious than lock stock and snatch, it's not the same type of film but it's still ok.
