Upgrade your connection online

https://autoreg.autoregister.net/cgi/cabletier?cust=ntworld_tiermigration

People with broadband through their set top boxes have to ring up to get it done.

Just got mine upgraded over the phone...takes 2 minutes.

A cool 3mbps connection now downloading at 350k/s

your username is the ntl email address you use.

ie; dave17@ntlworld.com you'd just type in dave17

password is the one you use for that email address I presume.

ntl: Broadband Internet - Connection Speed Upgrade
We are currently unable to change the speed of your connection online.

In order to increase the connection speed for the set-top box modem, please call 0800 068 1400.

Just rang them the women said they are upgrading everyone automatically over the next week.
I have 300k increasing to 1mb

Trouble is the new speed is capped at 3gig a month not sure how this will effect existing customers though as I have no limits at the moment.

Not for me though as I only had a 300k connection but unlimited downloads.
I now have 1mb connection but 3gig a month cap

I can't see how they can change my policy to make me worse off.

I play games online so I will use 3gig well quickly.

I'm going to phone them again and moan
