download a windows 98 second edition startup disk, put it in then restart the computer, at the prompt type in format c:

follow the on screen commands.

i use windows 98 as it doesnt load as many drivers and gets you straight to a dos prompt.

Take it to a scrap yard, and get them to put it next to the big magnet they pick stuff up with

It was denied on the grounds of you having LOADS of usernames IIRC.

If you get asked for a volume label just press return, its just a name for the disc.

Ahh yes, you have to enter what the volume label currently is. Do a dir first before the format and find out.
