I'm guessing you are using a compressor but incase you were thinking of using cans, don't

Oh ok. Well I guess you can get a decent finish with cans if you take your time but its ALOT easier with a gun. Halfords cans are quite good I think.

you can do it with cans but dont expect the finish to be anywhere near as good as a compressor, itll cover up the rust ok tho, i did my spoiler with rattle cans and my scuttle panel, looks ok
take your time with the preperation of it, ge tit smooth and dont rush it.

Hmmm not sure about this one Mav, touching up is one thing but preping and spraying panels is not really a DIY job........ive had a wee go with some small parts but never turned out all that good!!! Red is a bitch to colour match also

Mav i could get you some 2K flame red mixed in cans for quite a good price, but the paint finish wont be anywhere near as good as a compressor and gun when it comes to spraying it

cheers all..

Well I think I will tackle the under bonnet bits with cans..There is a spray place near me I could get them to match the colour up.
But for outside body stuff might try and get a compressor or leave it to the pros..

I've done wee bits and bobs before...

Under bonnet bits should be ok to do with cans yeah...

red what kinda price m8?......

The place near me will come out to car and match paint so might do that instead......
