Came home tonight to be told my dogs getting put down tomorrow

Hes almost 11 yrs old and has developed diabetes which in turn has affected his nervous system, lose weight and made him go blind - poor little thing doesnt know whats going on and is quite frightened I think

Absolutely gutted ive had his since I was 11

Gutted for you mate,

One of my dogs had to be put down whilst my parents where living in germany for 3 years (Dads in army)

I never got to say good bye to him. I was gutted.

Still got one Cocker spaniel, however i dread the day when her life has to end

id be gutted if i lost mine, I know its hard, but you have to think of it from dogs point of view, if hes really ill and possibly in pain, it's for the best, i knwo that doesnt make it any easier though

i used to have 3 of them , 2died of old age and the otherones back end went . you get so attached as thier personalitys are so nice. very good little dogs

Feel for you mate, used o have a rotweiler and had to be put down about 4 years ago now, had her since i wer a nipper

Not nice feeling at all because i became so attached to mine
