my speedo cable just snapped, so i've decided to ditch that, and I aquired an electronic set of clocks, as well as the drive - which has 3 wires atatched to the cable. I understand Brown would go to the Ignition live, and black to be earthed, however there's another wire which obviously goes to the multi plug.....
Question is what is the layout of the wires on the multi plugged when configured correctly?
A picture might be helpful also - or a diagram showing the wiring layout on the multiplug.
Cheers guys

Right I've found a plug for a different kind of speedo drive taped up in the loom, which im going to use rather than running a few cables right through the car... a bit of the mechanical drive however fell back into the gearbox and I cant seem to get it back out though

they may not want to do it, as its a conversion from a cable driven speedo to an electronic one (as thats all i could find at the time at the scrappies)
Might not have the specialist knowledge?
