I need to send an email to about 110 people.

The whole email including attachment is 4.8MB, is this likely to crash the whole system and gain me a bollocking from the IT department?

Going to do it anyway..

not business related eh?

two things will happen:

your IT department would of taken the time to have certain settings on your mail server so when it says its to 110 people it will tell you to GTF.

or the mail server will melt.

No it's work related, need to send an adobe document that I scanned in out to 110 recipients. Just happens to be 4.8MB

It's either that or do a lot of photocopying and enveloping.

But it's also under a tight time restraint. I want it to go out sooner rather than later and most of the recepients are overseas.
