Thought people might want to see the pics i took during my xe rebuild.

I rebuilt it with the help of my dad due to me smashing the sump and it the crank ceasing!

new bits fitted:

new sump
reground crank
new shells
arp rod bolts
new piston rings
every gasket and seal!
carbon fibre cam/timing cover
flywheel bolts
head bolts
did a slight smoothing of the inlets on the head with a days worth of sanding!

also had pistons checked for scoring, painted up the block, head, inlet manifold, exhaust mainfold in silver and the rocker cover in black aswell as other little bits.















there are only pics of the head at the moment, but should have the bottom end pics up soon.

i know. its in and running now. since yesterdays saga of changing a wheel bearing with no hub pullers!
