Mate from uni was told she needs the CV boot tightening on her corsa? something to do with leaking when the steering is on full lock, i looked it up in the haynes but couldnt find it..

is it an easy job? is there anything else it could be under in the haynes?

can buy special cv boot clips...there like metal cable ties.....

my cv boot clips broke & poo'd grease everywhere, Vauxhall fixed it for £18.00, new clips & re-grease the boot

The clips are pish. Constantly break. I always find cable ties work best.

Cable ties? Hahah, not even designed for the job in hand. Get the metal straps fixed on proplerly with pincers, they arent going anywhere.

found mine half way up the drive shaft the other day. pulled it back into the groove and no probs since. metal tie is probs the best idea
