...do you need to be from the kerb when parallel parking in order to pass that section of a driving test? Girl I know reckons it's 3ft

I'm pretty sure she's incorrect, as you'd need a taxi to get to the pavement...

I did it on my test, I passed, but I was only about 3" away from the kurb... it's about a foot though, but they don't get out with a tape and mesure it

i'm putting it into the postbox for the postmen to collect who will then take it to the post office and sort it out then deliver to your mopthers silky deposit box.

In a foot but its up to the examiner really if its a narrow street and you a foot out they might fail you its one of them things.
