If my MOT runs out march 12th 2005

My tax runs out 28/02/05 can i use my MOT as a valid one? I.e theres only a couple of weeks left on it so surely i should just be able to tax it using the current MOT??

Yes but not online unless its a 'new style' MOT certificate - whatever that means.

If your MOT is still valid on the first day of when the new tax period would begin, then yes you can.

My MOT expired on the 21st and tax expires on the 28th, so I had to do the MOT first...
