got a 1.4 16v corsa b ... was in 4th going 45mph approx ... don't hold much hope of anything but a full head rebuild

seconds before it went there was a large rattle/ clunking noise ... then the car cut out and I was left stranded in a blizzard on the hard shoulder until the friendly aa man came along ...

... it's gonna cost loads which I currently don't have so I'm heading into work tomorow on the train to hand in my notice effective immediately

ok so I live in Glasgow and work just outside Edinburgh in Broxburn ... approximately 45 miles away, so it's fairly essential I have a car.

... took 2 trains and a bus to work today which took 2 1/2 hours compared to the normal 40 mins ... needless to say my work were pissed off.

... also got some quotes today for the fixing and I'm looking at around £650 ... I don't have the money so I'm now the owner of a corsa that won't be fixed for a long time
