phase 2 is upto 280bhp (which I have now)
phase 3.5 is upto 315bhp
phase 4 upto 370bhp which my engine is built for, All I would change is fit even a bigger intercooler like an Evo one etc and oil spray bars for the pistons to help will cooling.

Depends on the Scoobies you race!

Nice car tho! Definitely different! How do the Cav turbos handle?

yer your P1 should whip me

its not to bad but they are still big heavy cars (1296kg). Because mine is so low there is no really suspension travel so it keeps the car flat which helps a bit.

with road trim and sub box I still pulled a 14.2sec 1/4 mile @ 102/3mph with 256bhp

Sweet! I think thats an awesome car matey! love the subtle styling! Thats not as heavy as I thought it would be to be honest! Are all the Cav turbo's 4x4?

Do they have problems with their transfer boxes or summat or is that a myth?

All turbos are 4x4 and some gsi's + the odd old basic 8ver lol.

They need a lot caring they die on most cars. You have to rotate the tyres every 1500 miles to keep tred depth the same all round. oil changes every year, basic care but people dont which kills them

Ah right I see! Id heard summat like that about the tyre depths!

Yeah, thats like a lot of cars really, if your an enthusiast and know about your car, these cars that have bad press for being unreliable and hard to look after become a piece of p*ss! Id say that about the P1 aswell. There are some nightmare stories about engine failures, but if you know how to look after them and what to look for they are bullet proof!

If your car is decked 60mm like you say you wont have 4x4 for long because your transfer box will pack up shop and go home.
Even the camber kit wont help it much that low....

On another point Calibra Turbo's arnt to bad This was mine.....

Yeah, they havent got that quite right! My car weighs 1235kg to be exact.

Hehe, I would love a sub 4 second 0-60! In my hands it would be lucky to do a sub 8 second 0-60!

60mm - ive never seen a camber kit able to cope with this.

All the Turbo suspension is 35 max. When i put the konis on my Calibra the back wheels looked like were on the pi$$ the camber kit helped but it still wasnt totally right.

I would serioulsly keep a eye on your tyres if your lowered 60mm.

It really does put so much strain on the box its untrue, seriously. The TXB is run on hydraulics (fluid) once you deck the car the force of the fluid going though increases hence why the most common cause of a TXB going is a blown seal.
It happened to me TWICE before i learnt my lesson - dont let the same happen to you.

If you havent got a 2wd 4wd switch installed INSTALL ONE. Save your TXB. They are not cheap to fix and to be honest unless your way over 300bhp 4wd is only really really needed if your really giving it some or in bad driving conditions.

F*cking love Cav Turbos and I was so close to buying one it was untrue, but the transfer box put me off.

I found one with 37K on the clock in Diamond black for 6K.

Wish I had now sometimes

standard boxes are.

If you read my spec I am running a VTS fixed box (no hydraulics) and permanent 4x4.

I am running a Regal camber kit which is fully adjustable (camber and toe). Not just an uprated bush like some people use

Didnt read it all.
Fixed you mean locked box? When i spoke to VTS they informed me you still need to stick to the "rules" but the box is stronger.
