i want to upgrade my 1.5d upto the 1.5td. how much would this be?involved etc?

rip the engine out and start with a td lump, is the cheaper/easier way

agreed, its not just the turbo you need. you need the td fuel pump, injectors, the pipework, inlet manifold, plus the compression ratio is different. and if your gonna muck about putting a 1.5 td in you may aswell go for the 1.7 tdf instead.

engine is about £300 plus you will need some custom turbo hoses for the 1.7. as for insurance group, no idea.
