Fookin head gasket has gone on the BMW

Looks like im gonna have to sell the golf to pay for is at it looks like it may cost upto £1500 to repair

Why don't you buy a Corsa or a Nova, they cost next to nothing to repair.

exactly! this is probably 80% the reason why i keep the corsa... cheap as chips to fix... simple to work on to.

isnt this guy a student? how do you aford a beemer?

Everyday I am tempted to go and find me a Astra Coupe/GSi Turbo, but I don't wish to have stupid service bills and ridiclous part prices that skint me out every month.

So, nothing newer than a Mk3 Astra or Calibra EVER

Yeh i had my nova for well over a year and it had 160K on the clock when i sold it and never spent a penny under the bonnet on repairs

and you still would have same power:weight as a certain 15 year old astra
