Hi there was just wondering if steel roll cages were REALLY heavy cos im on a tight budget n wanted one n the steel ones are quite alot cheaper?!

If you want the cage to be functional then STEEL is a must. Alloy are pure for show only. Door bars are bars that go across the inside of the doors between the A and B pillars which helps on a side-on impact but if its for show it makes life hard getting in and out.
Is this cage for show?

fia aprooved ones at mild steel.
Ally cages arent worth it!
Mines made from t408 mirror finish stainless steel, the one that doesnt rust.
Purely depends on what you want it for
