Just been having a read through some posts and need some advise
The idea is:
Build a PC, have it storing MP3s, running SatNav etc etc, but obv will need it generating sound.
I have a Pioneer 9600 headunit and it has AUX-In. Can you get some form of adapter from phono to the connector on the headunit? Or is that not possible?
All help is appreciated

your 'aux in' lead on the HU should already be phono. if it's a plug with so many pins then u can probably buy a adapter which is will the plug and the opposite side will have phonos. look in the HU manual for the part number (if u still have it) then buy it from caraudiodirect. thats the cheapest place i found for my alpine adaptor.

No it isnt phono, its some next level connector. Only phono coming from the headunit are for pre-outs.
