Is that a standard ECU?

have posted on SN but takes forever to take an answer.

anyway of tieing up what those numbers mean on the sticker?

Marc its whats in my car m8.

Previous owner said it had a remap in japan but thats not possible on pre 99 cars is it? So either he is lying/been misinformed or thats an aftermarket ECU.

They still havent answered on SN, fcuking useless!

Its a std ecu case but the numbers is not a subaru code best thing is to oen it and see if there is a chip with a tuning company name on or if it just says subaru all over it.

Sure ive seen it on websites before, pre99`s dont have the serial port to connect to and remap? Thought it was replace the ECU or nothing on an my98?

Maybe then. Im pretty sure on the ppp's they were piggy back ecus. Earlier ones may have been new ecus entirely, possible like yours is.

Marc i cant find a fuel cut defender anywhere. have blitz sbc-id boost controller and the car will run 22/23 psi without problem, only get fuel cut at 24. would nto be able to run that boost if ecu was standard??

Im really not sure on the limits of standard ecus!
