who has one?
i know the general consensus is that they're good phones.
just wondering if u can put it on silent with no vibrations??? i've got the samsung p510 atm and u can either have it on noise or vibrate which is annoying in lectures??
any other surprising features with the d500???
thanks.

Yeah it's a great phone. Seems better built than other Samsungs...
You can turn vibrate off completely, but then you'd need to manually enable it again when u wanted it off silent.
Only got mine last week so haven't had much time to play. Features I've noticed include being able to block calls/texts from specific numbers, and I really like the home-screen menu, but I think that's an Orange thing...

to put on complete silent you only have to press and hold the hash key on d500, but for it to work u have to go into sound settings and put quiet mode onto mute

Its a speaker
There is a little slide thing on the side of the phone. Behind this is a hole. Plug the speaker into this hole. Listen to music
Buy a bluetooth USB dongle & you'll be able to send MP3's from your PC quite easily
