how much they cost? everyone on here seems to be getting them for there c20xe conversions. basically what do they do?

the week part of an engine especially if you plan to uprate it are the conrod bolts... they'd snap when reved over 7000RPM

ARP rod bolts are much stronger and will allow you to rev to over 9000RPM...

other bits of the engine will give up at about 7800RPM

snap over 7000rpm?

the standard xe limit is around 6800rpm....

I'd advise ARP rod bolts if going near or above 7500 rpm...

But for the money and ease of installation they are worth the extra security on a mild engine.... if a rod bolts goes..... you'd prob see the rod out the side of the block

There's 2 per rod, then hold the cap on.
I'd say anythign over 7200rpm and you'll be pushing it. and for the £60 it's good piece of mind too.
