How far is Alton Towers from Glasgow and whats the quickest way of gettin there, How long roughly if anyone has drove there ?

260 miles straight down the M6 to junction 16 and its 20 miles east.

Is it clearly signposted, Reason for the questions, i'm 18 and furthest I've drove is about 60miles. Also is it 21 you have to be to hire a car?

24 at most places, i only found one place that would lend me a Van and i'm 21.

Driving 260 miles will tire you out, especially as you then have to do it all again.

If you can share the driving, do so.

Really, I love drivin though? We was gonna take 2 cars, though my mate has a Suzuki Jimny and this would use 2 much fuel, What about puttin him on the insurance ofr my car for the 2days ?

Motorways are boring, then you walk 10 miles around the park and occasionally use up a bit of energy getting thrown about, then you're back on the boring motorway in the dark.

See if your insurer will add him for a short time.

I drove to Wales a month after passing my test an im the only one that can drive,took three hours.
As long as you stop every so often an walk round,have a drink anything to get you outta the car for a bit you'll be fine
